Haha real stretch with that word😂

Yesterday marked the 1 year birthday of this blog,

And it’s one of those things that feels like it’s been an eternity, but also has me puzzled that a year has passed..

I just want to clarify, and reflect on what this blog meant to me when I started it..

I started this with the mindset of owning my own online real estate, no algorithm’s, no pleasing anybody, no waiting for likes or shares, just me sharing my deepest thoughts and harshest beliefs..

I knew if I wanted to own my voice, it would mean owning a digital place where I can hold my own conversation that would hopefully give a sense of community and show people that we’re not all that different, and typically go through the same things, no matter how much we believe we’re alone for the ride..

I also intended on shining a light on truth.. That means truth behind achievement, truth behind what it actually takes, truth behind expectations and attitude, and with polarizing propaganda and cultural and societal tensions rising last year, I told myself if truth is your intention, it should have a line I shouldn’t cross.. SPEAKING THE TRUTH became my vehicle..

My first blog was titled, READY, FIRE, AIM..

And to this day it stands as one of my favorites, because it will always stand as a truth behind all actions you take..

You can always prepare, you can always start, you can always course correct after starting..

Dont waste anymore time over preparing..

You don’t need more research

You don’t need to be better

You need to start, bite the failures and mistakes,

And the next option isn’t to quit, like everybody else does..

You LEARN and correct, and choose to not go down that same path..

And keep doing that over and over again, as you continue to move forward..

I started this blog, with no sight of a goal in mind,

I knew I wanted to leave an impact, and writing was my choice..

Fast forward 1 year later and I’m one of the trusted Copy Writers working alongside Bedros Keuilian! One of the greatest entrepreneurs of our time!

And all I have to say about that is -

what if I asked Bedros to read my blog,

what if I asked if I could write the promotions for any of his programs that bring in millions of dollars per year,

what if I asked to write morning emails to his email list of over 100,000 engaged subscribers..

And when I showed him my work on my website, and I had nothing but 2 measly blogs with nothing but good intentions?

I would not be doing any of the above, and that’s fact not anything behind politics or beliefs or dreams..

I’d simply have nothing to show for my good intentions..

I never wrote a structured essay in my school career,

I’m pretty sure I scraped by my English classes along with the other classes I failed,

I didn’t go to college, let alone for something like literature or journalism,

But I can recall the feeling of being asked to start writing, simply behind the credibility of the writing I’ve made up until this day.

I write here today from my desk to the side of my bosses door, doing more than just writing, but something that comes to mind when I think about the blog is this,

Im so damn glad I started one, and so damn glad I didn’t quit on this, even when I get zero analytics, zero views, but I told myself that it’d be something I could look back on, and I’m so grateful I get to read back, and be proud of where it’s brought me in just over a year..
