How To Define Your Brand

I had an interesting experience this past weekend.

The scene looked like this,

I messaged a guy about a shirt, I wanted

through a platform called Offer Up,

and I happened to buy their last collection and I threw it out there,

”Hey I have this shirt from the last drop, would you want to trade?”

””Im up for that trade!” he replied.

Cool, so we started to sort out the meet up and all that,

he told me he works in Arizona for his dads trucking company,

We were around the same age,

I told him how I used to drive and now I’m at Fitbody Bootcamp HQ working with a guy named Bedros, blahblahblah.

Now the most interesting part of this,

I pull up, I text him “here”

And he steps out,

I step out of my car,

and immediately I realized something super interesting,

We were both wearing oversized black shirts from our favorite brands,

we were wearing shorts, that were just a preferred length (a tad too short lol),

we were wearing crew socks with our running shoes,

you can tell we both throw around some weight,

even similar height,

and damn it might I say, we even had similar haircuts!

Whats the meaning to this?

We were meeting up, to trade this Darc Sport brands products, among us two..

Two guys

Not associated with the brand,

Neither work for the brand,

We’re not sponsored,

We’ve never met..

Yet, two people who dressed identically,

who share interests in throwing around some weights,

similar build,

similar age,

meeting up beyond the knowledge of the CEO of that brand or anybody on their team.

Do you think they got in a board meeting and envisioned this specific interaction?

HELL NO,

But, do you think they got together to answer these questions?

The questions YOU should answer for YOUR brand!

  1. Who are our people?

  2. What do they do?

  3. What do we move them towards?

Simple right?!

Those are things within your control,

Those are what piece together a clear vision of a brand.

Think of all the greatest brands out there,

realize they all follow this clear cut vision,

as should you.

If you found as much meaning to this as I did, shoot me a DM on Instagram👊🏽 and let me know, it helps me write better blogs for your needs as much as what I should be paying attention to for my website and business.
