Jim : How To Envision Winning for Yourself

Jim here was 12 years old in 1974..

Jim’s dad was an accountant and aspiring musician..

Jim had no friends at school, he had undiagnosed dyslexia, and often struggled with his studies..

At age 12, Jim and his family was homeless living in a van..

His mother struggling with clinical depression..

To help support his family, Jim was left with no choice but to drop out of school and get a job at a steel factory as a janitor at the age of 15..

While still living in Toronto, Jim finally gathered enough to move to Los Angeles deciding to pursue his dreams of becoming an actor..

Upon arriving there were a few years swallowing rejection after rejection, silentce filled comedy performances, where he struggled to make money to eat, again fighting the urge to give up..

Jim would drive up to the highest of hills in Hollywood, visualizing the life he wanted for himself as an actor..

1992 Jim wrote a check to himself for $10 Million Dollars, dated the check 3 years in advance, and kept it in his wallet as he got ack to work..

unaware of the fact his dreams would soon come true..

After many more auditions, in 1994 Jim landed a leading role in the film Ace Ventura : Pet Detective, which went on to be a big hit crossing over $100 Million at the box office. 


In the same year his following films, The Cable Guy, Liar Liar, and Ace Ventura : When Nature Calls, grossed $350 Million and $250 Million and Jim was the superstar who delivered hit after hit that year establishing him as one of the finest comedic acts the cinema world has ever witnessed..

That actor was Golden Globe, Grammy Award winner, Jim Carrey

and with his determination and passion he took himself and family out of the arms of poverty.

Jim Carrey would’ve never reached household name status if’d given up hope during his difficult days. Instead he took failure, and that grim feeling he’d run away from, as his drive to succeed.
