Do you remember your “New Year, New Me” going into 2020? 

Do you remember your New Years Resolutions?

Do you remember those goals you had on January 1st?

So hopeful

So open to receive

So optimistic

So prepared for things unpromised..

Then..

Then..

this year happened

knocked us all right off our tracks..

slowly but surely..

and shocked us all..

We’ve all been through a lot..

Wether side by side

or on opposing sides..

Wether you contemplated it all..

Or you took initiative to finally start..

Wether you questioned it all,

or were certain of this years purpose..

You muscled through,

you toughened it out..

You kept it pushing..

And fought by the skin of your nails..

This year, no “New Year, New Me”,

No..

This year,

You get to say

“New Year, SAME Me”

This year, you earned the right to be EXACTLY who you are..

Through and through..

This year don’t change up,

Don’t switch things up..

Remember the feelings you had this year,

Remember the fears you had,

Remember the things that made you happy,

The things that brought you out of that slump,

The things that made you stand,

The desperation for connection,

For love,

For unity

And use it to shape this coming year into

what will create the best years,

the rest of your life

Go make it..

Go build it..

ALL OF IT..
