Truth?

We all strive for certainty and boldness in our statements 

I see pride get in the way of learning, 

“It is impossible for one to learn, that which one thinks one already knows”

- Epictetus

I understand, we all want to stand on the mountain tops and shout out truth that is spoken strong and leaves your lips with with certainty and bold conviction, and it penetrates. 

But why can we not simply put,

this is what I believe to be most true,

from what I’ve collected, and what I can currently conceive as the truth.

Or

“I’m pretty sure this is how it is, but I’m not sure.”

I believe it is more important to learn how to think, before learning what to think.
