You’re Not Going To “Find” Your Passion

As Tom Bilyeu says, passion is not an archaeological dig but an architectural build.
Passion is a glowing ember you must fan into a raging inferno.

You’ll get sold left and right by the “gurus” out there

that you should

think about your passion

meditate on your purpose

that your vision will just come to you

its about “attracting your purpose”

When really, purpose is developed..

Purpose is built through doing something,

that you’re good at,

in service of others.

Passion can be something a layer deeper than why you think you do what you do.

What you do may be just covering what it is you may truly be passionate about.

You may be doing sales, for a product that’s completely irrelevant.

And your passion can be providing for yourself and your spouse,

or you can be passionate about having time to spend on leisure,

but doing sales could be the last thing on your list you’re passionate about,

but the love for the things you are passionate about,

may be what gets you to do that thing that provides time and resources.

Get it?

Everybody will say about this one guy, “He’s so passionate about his job, and loves sales!”

When sales is simply what he does, to provide for what he’s passionate about.

We’ll talk more on passion this week,

But the point is,

You won’t find out you have Passion for something, until you’re doing it.

You gain Passion and Purpose, from developing it through the work you do, and the people you do it for.

So Passion is not a prerequisite to getting started in something you can make a living in.
