Attach Yourself To Results, Not The Story..

When it comes to starting a new path,

with an end goal in mind,

we all keep in mind the the desired result.

Typically, we look to others who’ve achieved close or similar to our goal,

and dive deep into their content,

their story.

Sometimes, with this Digital Information Age were in, we end up consuming so much audio and video content, of the people we look up to telling their story

and being that it gets such an emotional response from us,

It sparks the dialogue in our head, of our story..

But more often than not, we end up trying to chase the story over the results were after.

We attach ourselves to wanting to have that Michael Jordan story,

the wasn’t supposed to make it story,

the my path is so hard story,

the rags to riches story,

even if we’re not starting from rags

all I’m saying is that instead of trying to conform your path to a story of someone you look up to,

start from where you are and

attach yourself to the results of your story, instead of trying to produce the story.

What happens is it becomes a competition of

who’s had the hardest upbringing,

or the hardest circumstances you fought through,

and those things are important tone aware of

BUT

When you start trying to formulate a difficult story, you subconsciously convince yourself you are in worse circumstances then you are, thus making it more difficult to truly believe you’re capable of achieving that thing you want to achieve..

Which is a problem..

The result is what you’re in control of, the story writes itself.

if you found value in this, I’d ask of you to share it with 1 like minded friend, doesn’t have to be a post or a story, but if the conversation comes up, hey do your boy a solid! You can always DM me at @julianphiliprodriguez on IG, and we can have a chat!
