The “ Feedback Loop ”

Seth Godin is quoted saying

“If you’re a bad writer, show me your bad writing..

Most people can’t because they tell themselves they’re bad before even getting started”

When starting, it’s so easy to label incoming words, attitudes, customers as

Positive

or

Negative

And it stirs up feelings about our product, or services that may be bad feelings of insecurity towards ourselves.

Which ultimately, the insecurity doesn’t serve us and won’t ever propel us towards progression..

Which is what we’re really after, the slow consistent ticking of the needle forward in our health, business, and finance.

The way to turn opinions on our business, is to take everything as FEEDBACK..

If let’s say, you drop a product and it doesn’t sell the way you imagined,

Even if your circle tells you they can’t wait and support you on it,

but if the sales don’t show up,

The feedback loop is,

Maybe the product sucked, now improve the product.

Where most take it is,

“My friends falsely support me..”

“Im not made for this.. “

”I suck at this..”

When instead of beating ourselves up,

you take the bumps,

improve where you can,

and go from there.

IT DOES NOT SERVE YOU TO BEAT YOURSELF UP OVER DECISIONS..

THE WORLD THROWS ENOUGH OF A BEATING ON YOU,

YOU DON’T NEED MORE TO COME FROM YOURSELF..

NO MATTER HOW MUCH COMFORT YOU FIND, IN GETTING ON YOURSELF BEFORE OTHERS CAN,

TO SPARE YOURSELF THE PAIN OF OTHERS OPINIONS..

Bedros Keuilian writes in his book,

”Indecisive wastes more dollars, resources and time,

than the wrong decision.”

Make a decision,

Execute the decision,

Garner the feedback,

Improve where you can,

Move slightly towards your goals,

Time after time..

Until you look back at how much progress you’ve made,

Then continue..
