Why The Success Of Your Business Depends On Your OFFERS

I had this subject in my notes to write about for a while, but it made so much more sense after a day like Black Friday..

Bedros Keuilian posted a gangster story yesterday saying

“If every day you all marketed your business like it was Black Friday, you’d all be freaking millionaires!”

Let’s start by breaking down what’s in a Black Friday Offer

👆 Take a look

  • Notice the order of communication

  • The order of what’s important to know

  • Notice how CLEAR the benefits are

Marketers know that our attention is low on Black Friday, because everybody’s bombarded by deals and offers, (which btw the big corporations like these have MILLIONS to spend on a day like this), we know we have to put EVERYTHING up front, clear and concise.

But what if Bedros told you, what if I told you,

This is how we should be Marketing our Goods and Services EVERY DAMN DAY.

Attention is low every day,

Competition is high every day,

Our offers are great every day,

Our value given is high every day,

Our offers should be clear every day.

Why an our “Offers” is so important,

Potential customers, need to know what buckets they can fit into with your business.

People have goals, they need to hear (and be reminded) how you can be the vehicle to their goals.

People have pains, they need to know (and be reminded) how you can offer the roadmap to avoid pain.

Most people follow many influencers, businesses, brands, entrepreneurs that by the time they’re on the next post, they’ve forgotten you, your offer, your industry EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU.

So to think that you’ll win in business by telling your community once or twice about your offer and how they can work with you, bundle up for a cold dry winter my friend.

Now that you know how important the Offers are to your business, here’s how to structure or restructure the offer in your business.

An Irresistible Offer consists of the following :

  1. Easy To Understand, 1 Single Idea for a promise or transformation, a simple proposition.

  2. Differentiated Benefits, It’s not just another thing, “how is this going to be valuable specifically to ME” (the consumer’s perspective)

  3. High Perceived Value, what you’re giving is worth 10x MORE than what you’re asking for it.

  4. Easy to get, a simple process to acquire. If I’m ready to buy, how simple or complex will the process be to get started?

  5. It’s believable, Not just the deal but the BELIEVABLE REASON for the deal (overstock, good will, over capacity etc.)

  6. Credibility, Social proof that other people have used the product or service and won.

  7. Risk Reversal, “Your pizza delivered in 30 minutes or less or its FREE” “No questions asked, Money-Back Guarantee” “Lose ____ lbs. or we’ll continue training until you do”

  8. Urgency, Give them a reason to buy now, (preferred pricing, early bird pricing, added benefits for this time, time limit on pricing tier)

The sole purpose of this blog was to say that :

None of your Marketing, Messaging, Values, Beliefs, matter if you can’t package it up into an Offer that people can buy.

It’s funny that the weeks leading up to Black Friday, millions of dollars are prepared to be spent, 100’s of hours in meetings are used, all to make the most direct, clear, irresistible offers all to do Marketing the RIGHT WAY for 1 single day of the entire year.
