Have You Heard Of These “REALISTS” ?

I’ve never been one to identify myself under a certain label, a single type of characteristic, or anything really.

Maybe you can relate,

but when I read where,

William Arthur Ward said,

The pessimist complains about the wind;

the optimist expects it to change;

the realist adjusts the sails.

It stuck.

I think most people who make change, who do, not good things, but great things, look at things and filter them through factual and not emotional.

Try to look things the way they are,

Instead of the way we wish things were.

Because from there

its a stable first step

from there

it’s an informed first step

from there

its a clear first step

Most are rewarded,

for taking that first step,

not in, great times,

but the bad times as well,

The winners,

choose to adjust in bad times to take themselves and their people,

back to great times

No matter how strong,

how bad the fucking wind may be in your life,

Everything could be telling you to stop the boat,

to sit and cry about it,

you can hope it will change

you can wish the wind never happened

or you can choose to,

ADJUST YOUR FUCKING SAILS

From there

you can start.
